Here’s a few photos a took on my iPhone as I wandered about the DMAI Opening Celebration. “Hi!” again to all the great folks we talked to again this evening!

The Discover Anywhere Mobile team is off to Atlanta tomorrow to meet hundreds of destinations – and with a little luck, convince them that (a) they need to be on mobile devices, and of course (b) DAM is the way to do it! Troy Thompson of PhoCusWrite calls it, well, see the title:

DMAI Starts Tuesday or the Woodstock of Tourism Conferences Heads to Atlanta

DMAI’s Annual Conference starts Tuesday in Atlanta and half of the Travel 2.0 team (Troy) will be there!  Aside from a solid looking program, we are looking forward to seeing and meeting so many of our industry peers, comrades and readers.

Plus, we will…like 287 other attendees…be tweeting as much as possible during the show.  I mean, why else would you go to a conference?

By the way, we hear the official tag for the show is #DMAIAC09, but don’t be surprised if the much more text friendly #DMAI also pulls in some popular tweets.
